I finally was able to exercise again after almost a week. I walked to the tanning salon (3 blocks there and 3 back) and then did the 3 mile WATP for Abs. God I've missed exercise so much. I'm really ready to start jogging again.

Errr.... not sure if I have ever said that LOL!
I did not notice any difference at all in my figure until I lost around 30 pounds (which was a little depressing). I started to actually feel normal looking (if you know what I mean) when I hit the 180s.
I have a definite shape now, more hourglass than just mushy. I notice differences now with smaller weight loss as well, now every 5 pounds is very noticeable on my frame.

SOOOOOO... Dad is now in the hospital, I'm healthy enough to see him, but I have pretty much fallen off the wagon. I'm watching what I eat, but have been having a hard time sticking with my plans. Biggest problem was staying motivated to work out this weekend as I didn't do any. I did manage to swim today and actually pushed myself really hard. I was aiming for 625 yards under 20 minutes as I consistently did 600 yards last week under 20 minutes. I clocked in with 18:54, so I'm pretty proud of myself for that one. I only stopped briefly twice to pull my swim cap back down. I'm looking forward to trying to do a few more laps front stroke (remember I recently quit smoking, so breathing is still a bit of an issue, although I could only manage 1/2 a lap of front stroke the first week before choking while I am doing at least 4 in a row now). I only do breast, back and front stroke, which is better then when I was also using side and a little doggy paddling. The goal is to eventually only be using front stroke. I'm kind of rambling... haven't written in a while, feels weird.
I did gain almost three pounds back this week, but I moved my belt in another notch..? My guess is that I'm building muscle from all the swimming (more of a hope) and I will see most of not all of that three pounds disappear next week.
Stay away from the green beer everyone (or just indulge in a couple)!!!

Kim - glad you are feeling better. Try to plan your food - write it out, it will really help you get back on track. Congrats on the swimming!

Today I did a WATP 3 mile walk.

Well, I have been working out on a consistent basis on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Kind of falling short on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays and a hit and miss on Sundays. I lose a pound and gain two. I met with a nutritionist on Feb. 3rd and she set the calories I needed to eat based on my exercise routine and I guess it's good that I haven't eaten as much as she told me because it was based on being active every single day. So....I have lost 2.4 lbs since then and I told her I sleep probably about 4 1/2 hours a night and she told me that I need to aim for at least 6 hours a night. She also did my BMI which show little change but we did find out that I have lost 1.7 pounds of FAT!!!!!! So, I am burning fat and not muscle or water. Made me feel better and I am going to start writing down what I am eating.
