Default It's your FEB morale booster time! No needles! It won't hurt.

I can tell from a lot of posts this is a hard time of year for everyone, so I decided to post a thread dedicated to February's high points. We need a little boost of morale. Did you get a raise? Get a compliment? Have a nice day with family? Get some insight or inspiration? Are you just happy? See a so terrible it was awesome movie? This can be weight related or not, but share what made you feel good.

Mine? I got a compliment from my boss! And that is a huge deal with someone like her. It was requested of me to document via email an incident that happened in our ER... I got an email back from my boss. The email said she is happy with the way I work with my coworkers, she can see my hard work paying off, and she has never once regretted hiring me (even when I had pink then purple hair for 2 months). It was the best feeling.

Reddalice - That's great!

Let's see...I'm kind of struggling right now to deal with everything that life is slinging at us. It just seems like so much, but on the flip side, I feel like I whine WAY too much about it. There have been good things, though!

I've finally finished training at my job, so I'm making money again. Thank goodness!
I've been getting great marks in school, and it's moving riiiight along
My honey has something planned for Valentine's...
My eating is back on track.
I have a weekend with my sister and neice and nephew to look forward to in March.
I have lots of good food in my fridge, and my cupboards are full.

Wow, what do I have to complain about? Realizing everything that is going good really makes the negative things that have happened dim in comparison.

Thank you for starting this thread!

I got a compliement this week - from an acquaintance I work with occasionally. She's much larger than me and has always commented about my weight even when I wasnt doing anything about it.

She asked how much I had lost and said I must have lost 100 pounds now. I thanked her and told her I had only lost 75 but she was still really encouraging.

The other day DH said my butt has a really nice shape. Made me laugh, but he said he was really serious. Made my day!

One of my patients asked me if I had lost weight. She is such a sweetheart!

Very nice thread, thanks.

My four year old told me I was the best mom ever!!

I found a really cute chocolate cow to send my sister for Valentine's day from the kids because she LOVES cows and she had a very bad year last year (her husband had two strokes, one during surgery to correct the strokes and he's going next week for another surgery) - and I know she'll smile when she gets the package.

I have a great job.
I got an A in my accounting class.
My bf and I have been getting long better than ever.
Valentine's Day is coming up! We are having a romantic dinner at this cozy little fondue place.
This new lifestyle suits me. I love the way I feel and soon I will love the way I look!

This thread is just what I needed today! I've got a serious case of the Gloomies, and I need something to knock some sense into me!

I have an amazing boyfriend, and we just keep getting closer and closer.
My mother is more supportive than I ever gave her credit for.
I'm finally taking steps to get out of this misery I've been in for a while now.
I'm finally getting back on track with my food, water and exercise.
I'm actually looking FORWARD to getting a job!

OH, and my hair looks cute today! Just had to throw that one out there.

My 18 year daughter told me that I was right about something and she should listen to me more often!!!!! For those of you who have teenagers I'm sure I don't have to explain how great that felt!

This is a lovely thread!

Tingirl...that's IS amazing. Parents LOVE to hear that.

For me -
- a friend complemented me on my weight loss
- I can fit comfortably in the dining room chair with arms!! It's not a squeeze anymore (NSV!!!!)
- that I am willing to try!
- I've gotten many compliments lately on my leadership and publicity skills for our storytelling group
- my mom moved to the same town where I live...at first I was freaked out about it, but, actually it's been fun

I'm alive and live with my love. I take that for granted sometimes, but I should be always aware and thankful! I'm also pretty happy with my first online class! No need to play around with clothes! I can sit naked at my computer and discuss human development.

And at work...

A patient called me feisty and asked after me a couple of times.

What a brilliant, amazing, disturbingly wonderful film! Not for the weak stomach-ed!!!!

The Orphanage is out now, but it's not playing near me for some ridiculous reason...I'm pi**ed!

Sorry for the O/T
