I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago. I just wanted to tell you that diagnosis isn't the end of the world, and though there is no known "cure" for PCOS, life is certainly livable with it.

I will be praying for you. Please let us know when you find out for sure. I don't have PCOS, but I know that many women here do have it and have continued to make awesome improvements with their health. You can do the same thing!

I agree with my Cysters! It is not the end of the world! I live a wonderful life! My problem is losing weight! I struggle! Good luck and you are in my prayers!

I have PCOS and it is very manageable and from what I understand, with weight loss, it can disappear completely.

Thanks so much for your replies, everyone! Unfortunately, my doc's office was closed today, due to our snowstorm. So I still don't know anything. But I am much calmer today about the prospect of the diagnosis.
