Default Is Your Red Dress Ready?

Celebrate National Wear Red Day

Everyone can support the fight against heart disease in women by wearing red on National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 1, 2008. It's a simple, powerful way to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.

Wow! That's great to know. Friday's are jeans day at my office, but I think I'll wear my red dress instead. Heart disease and strokes run in my family. That is one of the main reasons I decided I had to lose weight.

I just watched a What Not To Wear (I've got a crush on Clinton), where the girl with no fashion sense at all had just been picked to be a spokesperson for Go Red. I'd never heard of it before that but it's a great idea. Women are kind of an afterthought in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
