Thank you everyone!!! I know these photos aren't the best for comparison but I don't have a lot of digital pics as I just got my own digital camera this year.

I had a tough night trying to sleep but had an opportunity to think about things. I think that the fact that I'm not seeing as dramatic a difference as I would like & that my motivation has been waning lately is all for the same reason. Years ago a weightloss specialist told me that 190lbs was the right weight for me. I've never been closer to that weight then I am now & it is blaringly obvious to me now that there is no way I will be content at 190lbs.

I think I always kind of knew that but had hoped I would be happy with my body at 190lbs.

So, I guess I'm just a little disappointed that I'm still a ways from my goal. Guess I'll need to spend some time evaluating what that goal will actually be.

Honestly - as I sit here in frigid Iowa where we got six inches of snow last night and it's a whopping six degrees outside - you look gorgeous on that beach! Beach looks pretty darn good, too!

Lifeguard, you are making fabulous progress. I can definitely see the difference. Keep up the good work... and you may be surprised at how much will have changed by the time you get to 190. I wouldn't spend too much time stressing about going lower until you see the results when you get there.

I also took 2 pics of myself when I started the diet a week ago. So I have the "before" pictures. I am so anxious to have also some "after" pictures...but I still have 11 pounds to loose before i will take the next set of pics...:(
