Welcome! The key for me is making BETTER choices. Not perfect, just better than before. So if I usually had a Coke with my bacon cheeseburger and fries, I first switched to having a diet Coke (or water or unsweetened iced tea) with it. Then maybe change the fries out for a salad. Maybe later get the burger without bacon, or cheese... and eventually get a turkey burger or a chicken sandwich instead.
If you like spaghetti and sausage and garlic bread, switch to a whole grain spaghetti, a low fat sauce, turkey sausage and a piece of wheat bread. Add in a salad. Drink lots of water.
Small changes over time = results.
