Thanx so much everyone!!! All the ladies here have been such a big inspiration too. I think I was down to about 230 or 240 when I started my journey
here and I have learned so much since. It has really helped to have all the support and encouragement and accountability! lol

Congratulations Jasmine!!! When you start closer to 300 than 200, isn't seeing that 1 on the scale the most amazing thing? Well done.

It is, I reached a point at the end of jan 07 when I hit 203 on my old scale(which would of been 208 on my new scale) and then life hit (think ex trouble)and the eating and exercise went haywire and by the time I looked again in April I was back up to 220!!
It was a very conscious decision to put the bag of chips down and deal with the stress in a different way. I told myself I would have to deal with this jerk whether I was 200, 250, or 300 lbs and I wasn't going to let him win by me damaging my body with more food. I decided that was the one area of my life I COULD control.
I don't think I have been this weight since after I had my first daughter 14 years ago! I pretty much bounced around 220-240. I am really looking forward to getting down to the 160's God willing and then maybe dare I say 140? lol
One step at a time, my next goal is to get down to 174, that way I won't be "obese" any more.

That is terrific, Jasmine!! Keep up the great job and you will see your goal before you know it.

I know I will. I think no matter what I can hit the 160's. My lowest weight in high school. We'll see.
