ok everyone's going to hate me, but i've never had a cramp or headache related to TOM! I know it's gonna bite me in the *** when i hit menopause hahaha it'll accumulate and hit me then ;) DH says he knows when it's my PMS days becuase I'm extra...umm....ahem...**blushing*** affectionate

My best friend however, has absolutely crippling symptoms and she tried accupuncture and found some relief but it didn't last -- then the doctor told her (since she's done having kids) to just stay on the Pill -- not have a menstrual cycle at all -- she's a completely changed woman!!!! She stops 2 times a year and has a period for about a week, but other than that she's calm, no aches and pains, no mood swings and no cramping!

I know what you mean!

I have PCOS, and my periods are absolutely awful. Heavy bleeding, cramps from the bad place, migraines, and I turn into a total witch. And the food cravings are awful during TOM too.

I've found that drinking some Peppermint Tea helps me a lot. I just take a few minutes to myself to drink it and try to relax. The warmth really seems to help curb my cramps, and it tends to zap my cravings too.

Some moderate exercise also helps for me, something like taking the dogs for a walk or running around the backyard with my niece. If I start craving a food I know I'm not supposed to have, I find something else to occupy my time. I read a book, watch a movie, exercise, etc.

Time to get it out if it isn't something you can avoid sweetie.

If it isn't there it won't call to you so much, or at the least it will make it a lot harder to get it.

I had to do that with chipits!

I hear you. I usually keep chocolate chips in the house for occasional baking. Usually I'm not too tempted.

But my 6 yo daughter has found them, and has been getting into them as a "snack." So in the trash they go. When I want to bake, I'll make a trip to the store if necessary.

I love to bake... Even just for other people. But I know what you mean completely on the "snack" side of things. My 4 year old brought them upstairs to munch while watching TV twice... That was part of why I tossed them as well.

She might be the tallest and slimmest in her Junior Kindergarten class (and one of the youngest)... But I am not going to let bad habits form if I can avoid it.

;)

Well some good news! Got on the scale this morning and it was 207, I went down 5lbs over night! Iknow im not finished fluctuating rightnow but that was good to see. I'm going to try to work out at the gym today. I still feel tired (from Ativan) and my mouth hurts from the dentist yesterday.
