I was rooting for Jerry but since he's gone I've switched my alliance to Kae. And I think the black team was crazy to vote Phil off this week because he was such a strong team member - I would have kept him on until the teams disbanned. But I have to say that I really, really dislike Julie and can't wait to see her booted out.

Well the blue team voted him off and I think it was BECAUSE he is so strong. He was losing tons of weight. With him gone, I think the red team will be in the elimination room a lot. I think it was a good move, strategically speaking, on the blue team's part.

I agree!!! And as much as I can't really get into Kim as a trainer, I was nodding my head as she was telling her team how mad she was going to be if they (the red team) tied the vote because it would give the blue team that opportunity.

Just a couple comments in response to what people on this thread said - the weigh ins aren't always just a week apart. It can be 10 days or every couple of weeks. From start to finish (the finale) the people have over 8 months to lose as much as possible. Someone also mentioned Amy - she is from where I live and there was an article in the paper about her (no picture). The reporter said she now looks as if she has lost 1/3 to 1/2 her body weight so clearly she was and continues to be pretty successful. I hate the actual game playing and drama on the show. I just like the end with the updates.
just my two cents...

So they are sequestered for 8 months?? Don't they stay all together during the weight loss? I am confused.

Thanks,

I believe they get 12 weeks "at the ranch" and the rest they have to do at home before the finale
