My DL weight is 230 lbs. I haven't changed it in 18 years, even though I've been above that weight and below it. I'm looking forward to changing it next March, which is when it expires. Hopefully my weight will be even lower than it is now.
I did not know there were states that didn't require the weight on the DL. They don't weigh you here, just take your word for it.
hahah well i think the states who DONT put it on have proven their point since it seems as though most of the other states are getting false numbers anyways!!!
no weight in NY, but my picture, well.....that's another story! By the time I need to renew, I hope to be at goal weight, so I will make the dreaded trip to dmv to get a new pic taken!
Mine says 175, though I was probably 230ish when I had it renewed. And yes, when they asked if everything was the same I just smiled and said YES!
Now for the really screwed up part.....had to stop at the DMV Friday for a copy of my driving record (clear!) and thought while I was there I should have my DL renewed (I was thinking it was due in Dec., but it's not till Dec. '08). The very FIRST thought that popped into my head was that I'd put my weight at 150, even though on Friday it still showed 152 on the scale. How crazy is that? 95 pounds later and my first thought was to put a weight on my liscense that was lower than what I actually weigh. Does this mean I'll never be secure enough to put that real number on the DL? UGH!
why DO they make you put your weight on? In SD you don't have to step on the scale either. They ask for hair color and eye color too.. when I last renewed my DL I had blue hair (Bright ROYAL BLUE). They put "blonde". I have gray eyes, and they don't have gray as an option so they just put "Green". I obviously weigh more than 185, but they didn't question it. My DL could basically be anyone! What a crock.
The weight on my DL is 250. Obviously that was a lie.... Well, I renew in Nov. I am hoping to be down to 220.....and then I will TELL them 200. Hey, I am going to get there eventually!!!
It's not printed on ours in arkansas but they ask. I had to get mine renewed in July and the girl was like hair still blonde (not exactly), eyes still blue, you still 5'1" and weight still 185. yep sure is, never was more! Whatever, why do they ask if it's not on there! To clarify, when I told them 185 it was right about that but like somebody else said, the pic says it all!
Here in GA they have the pictures saved as a file (like a JPEG) so they no longer have to take all the pictures every time. You only get a new one if the change is "significant enough". Man, I hope the total loss of 73 lbs (when I get there) is considered significant enough! As for the current weight on my license... it says 185. I weighed 203 this morning.
