Of course, the first day

So I've been up for about 12 or so hours, and I'm pretty tired. Of course, I've been on the computer the whole time. I want to go to bed, but I have to get up at about 5ish, and I'll be busy all night. But I need to exercize today.

So I was trying to tell myself not to bother, it's just one day, I'll go tomorrow. I quickly shook my head, looked at the clock and said NO, I'm going. It's early (7am), it'll be quiet, and I can sleep when I get home. I need to do the exercize, I have to stop procrastinating.

Lol sorry if this seems kinda pointless...I just wanted to share that for once in a long time I'm actually saying no to my procrastination. >=O

Loch  I'm the Queen of Procrastination so get off my throne and go workout!!

Actually I plan to do what you are doing and go workout today as well. I haven't been to Curves in over three weeks due to hurting my hip and then being on vacation. I always dread going, which annoys the heck out of me because once I'm there I feel great and I love the results of working out. So no more excuses!!

Plus, a very interesting thing I learned last night reading the You on a diet book. They say that it takes 40 to 120 calories for a pound of muscle to sustain itself during the day. It only takes a pound of fat 1 to 3 calories to sustain itself during the day. Sooooooooo isn't that reason enough to get that body moving? :trampo:

You're absolutely right! I know that as much as I don't want to do it, that when I actually get off my ***, I feel so much better. Once I get outside, it seems silly that I ever procrastinated in the first place.

Yeah it's so hard taking that first step, but once you're out the door there's no turning back. I always feel great after the workout. I'm just so lazy lol.

I hear ya! I always try to talk myself out of it, it seems. I have just gotten to the point of putting it in anyways, and forcing myself to go as far as I can. I wish I could join Curves or a gym....or that I could walk outside, but none of those are options for me! But GOOD JOB!! Keep going! :)
