So are you feeling better?

I have had 2 root canals. Luckily my dentist was cute, cute cute. The worst part is having your mouth open that long.

Of course my last root canal left my jaw numb for many weeks. :(

Well, it's a week later for me.

Sadly, I wasn't in much pain BEFORE the root canal. I started getting mild toothaches and before things could get worse they decided to give me a root canal. So there wasn't pain to remove to make the procedure feel better!

I was in pain for the whole week! The first 4 days I had to take Vitamin I (Ibprofen) and Tylenol every 4 hours or I would be crying. I couldn't eat hard foods on either side of my mouth (because the chewing on one side hurt the other side too). However, beer made me feel much better. :)

The 5th day, things started looking brighter as I could chew harder food on the right side but had to chew everything over there.

Now, it's still tender but I can stop taking pain meds every 4 hours and just do it twice a day.

Thanks for all your input. It's good to know there are other people out there that have been through the same thing! I am SUCH a baby when it comes to my teeth!
