Gone for the weekend
 

So I am taking off for the weekend....

The people at Curves are going to kill me - this will be the 2nd weigh-in that I have cancelled.

But, my Dad called and asked us to come visit him for the weekend.

He is in Deleware on a job - his wife is in Texas. He is going to be there for at the very least another year. How could I tell him no? It is only 4 hours. Plus the kids are excited at the idea of staying at the beach for the weekend. (I am not so excited... but hey)

But, we are supposed to have lots of physical activities planned - so even though I am going to miss my Curves time on Saturday - I am going to be busy.... He is also really supportive about my "lifestyle" changes - so he is not going to push us to eat at fastfood places either.

Ah, the beach and boardwalk in Deleware...anywhere near Ocean City? Where ever it is, you're sure to have a fabulous time! Enjoy the weekend with your dad and kiddos!

We won't be too far from the ocean - - - I don't know how far Ocean City is going to be from where he is... I know he is not too far from Seaford, this will be my first visit to where he is staying. I was in Seaford about 6 or 7 years ago... we went to the boardwalk. It was a lot of fun!

I am going to make up a couple of snack packs to take with me so I don't get too tempted by the boardwalk food. I remember everything being really good but now I that I think about it - it was so very good, but so very bad... :p
