Default New and need support

This is my first time joinig a online weight lose forum. I'm starting the weight watchers program. I Have a lot of weight to lose and really need support. I'm a nursing student in the 3rd semester and its really hard to eat healthy when your always stressed out. I've been following ww program for a week now and its been ok. Well I hope I hear from some one

2bhappy, I'm doing WW Online, and it's working really well for me so far. Are you going to meetings?

Hello and welcome to you both.

2bhappy, good luck with WW. Soooo many people are so very successful using that program. It says this is your first week. Although I don't follow WW, I count calories (similar though), I can tell you that the first 2 -3 weeks of my journey were difficult. It really is hard trying to obtain new habits. But I got through those first weeks, and so will you - somehow, someway (sheer determination, I'm sure) and then I must say it got so much easier. So hang in there. It does get better and it's all so very worth it. Glad to have you on board.

Shymoment, I agree with you totally. Checking in here on a daily basis is a great thing. It's fantastic to be able to "talk" with people who are in the same boat as you. Welcome aborad.

I'm new as well, and also doing WW. I've lurked on these forums for a long time, and I can say that the one thing I feel is so important is being accountable. Find a place you feel comfortable in, and jump right in with posting! It's a big motivator to know that you'll have to be accountable to a group of people at the end of the day.

HOORAY for night owls! If any of you feel you need a "diet buddy" or something of the sort, don't be afraid to PM me ((hugs))

Welcome i am somewhat new here . only been around for about 1month now . i love this site . People seem really friendly and are so supportive of each other . i am not doing weight watchers but i think weight watchers is a great plan for those who can follow it. you get to eat what you want so long as it is in moderation . just because i am new to this site does not mean i am new to the adventures of weight loss. i also find eating well and excercise is a great stress releiver; especially the excercise . i also find that in lieu of making me tired excercising gives me energy . i have not excercised in 1 1/2 week and i feel tired all the time. i guess i should get moving . lol anyway i wish you great success in your adventure of weight loss and also with your new career you are studying for.

Not so very long ago, I was new here, too! But now, I feel like a regular, and I truly love this place. If this internet connection ever quit, I'd have to go back to "hard way" dieting, no fun at all!

2bhappy: I like WW and have learned that when I eat within my points range, I feel great! Hang in there with the stress that nursing school brings. You're almost there!

Shy Moment: I work all day and am not supposed to be online at work. I am normally floating around in the evenings around dinner time and then later after the kids are asleep....posting keeps me from munching!

Annette: I completely agree with you...the folks on this site are GREAT! And I find myself taking better care with my food choices and planning for exercise so I can post my achievements here!
