Tall non fat sugar free vanilla (or sugar free cinnamon dolce) latte. 120 calories, some protein. I wish I could do without the artificial sweetener, but I like my coffee sweet.

*edit* not sure where you are getting 90 calories, the Starbucks site says a tall non fat latte is 120 calories, not that it makes a huge difference.

Usually I get a medium light roast, and add 1% milk to it.

About once a month, if I'm there on a social call, I get a soy latte.

tall 1% vanilla latte, they usually upsize it to a grande for free - I don't know if thats good or not. I can't do skim milk yet, and sugar-free doesn't work for me :( Fortunately I only get one when I'm parked on the roof at work and actually have TIME to stop, so maybe once a week. 3.50 is a LOT of a coffee, I almost considered getting a job there for the free drinks.. heh

I used to drink Starbucks everyday - literally - I had done that for more than 3 years. Then I decided to make the break - I did not go there for about 2 months - which was hard because I drive past every day to and from work - basically any time I leave my house.

Now - I am an occasional drinker - but I like the non-fat mocha (hot), lite whip and I get either a grande or venti.

Have no idea how many calories are in it -not sure I want to know. Somehow - I just figure it will really depress me.

I'm not sure what the difference is but if you look up the SF cinnamon dolce latte on the Starbucks nutritional info page, it says 90 calories for a tall skim no whip. I was confused too because of the 120 for a tall SF vanilla latte but hey, I'll go with what they say. :D :D :D

That would piss me off. I would demand a tall. I know what I want, if I wanted a grande, I would order a grande.

I almost never go (can't remember the last time actually), but I used to get the tall sugar free vanilla soy latte. Not sure about the calorie content. In the summer I usually go for the plain unsweetened iced tea or iced coffee. Sometimes I'll put a splenda in the coffee, sometimes I just want it black.

Hi. My standing order:

4 shot espresso on ice with 2 splenda, in a venti cup, with a tiny splash of half and half/whole milk (just enough dairy to lighten the color.)

Me too! Part time at least. But really, if I did work there I'd probably be too wired to work. :hyper:

I uh...obsessively emailed Starbucks about the 30 calorie discrepancy. They were nice enough to email back:

With the increased emphasis around Health & Wellness, we have put significant additional time and resources towards researching and validating our nutritional data. A study was performed to evaluate our current nutritional data and recipe standards. One finding of this study was that the milk amount was being slightly overestimated (~10%) due to condensation and foaming affecting the density of the milk. Using the results of this study, all recipe formulas were recalculated.

All new beverages, including Cinnamon Dolce Latte, are/were calculated using the updated recipe formulations, while we are still working on recalculating the existing Core beverages. Within the next 6 months, we will be revising ALL Core beverages to be consistent with the new, more accurate calculations.

Woo - 90 calories for a tall non fat latte! I love that it's less than 100 calories.

shrinkingchica 04-23-2007 04:06 PM

I get tea. There are all sorts of flavours and zero calories! ;)

DollyR 04-23-2007 04:50 PM

Grande non-fat latte with two splendas....Starbucks is every where in Korea but only the base Starbucks has splenda or non-fat milk so I stick to a once in a while treat before or after work. I am trying to keep my caffiene lower and decaf does not exist here except if I buy the Starbucks beans in the commissary.

Glory87 04-23-2007 05:15 PM

I carry packets of Splenda in my purse so I am always ready!

Meg 04-23-2007 05:28 PM

Thank you for emailing, Glory! You have made my day (week, month)!!!

I'll take a tall skim SF cinnamon dolce latte (no whip, extra hot - I embarrass myself when I order ) over a 100 calorie pack any day!!

Glory87 04-23-2007 06:23 PM

That is hilarious, that is my exact drink order too - down to the "extra hot" I just had one! (from the cafe downstairs, so I got sugar free raspberry syrup, makes it all pink and frothy!)
