My scale at home says I weigh 155. My friend's scale says I weigh 173. I do recaliberate mine with a 5-pound weight, but I'm still dubious of the number.
Does it matter really?! Not at all!! There is a reason scales come with a warning that they aren't to be used for commerce. ;) That and your weight isn't a number tattooed on your forehead. All people will notice is that you look great! As long as I continue to visibly lose weight, then it doesn't matter what the scale says. I mainly use the scale dually as one measure of my progress and also as a check to make sure that I maintain my loss. I don't care what the number is as long as it keeps going down or stays the same. I also measure myself ,but sometimes I can see fatty areas disappear even if the tape measure and scale don't change. Your clothes are another measure of progress. |
