Hey there, Colleen!
Regardless of HOW neat and orderly something can be or not be, your idea of a binder and your intentions for it sound GREAT! I, too, go off on many tangents. Ideas pop into my head out of the blue ALL THE TIME, and I usually go with them because they are often far more interesting and significant than the original PLANNED idea. As I mentioned in another post, I pretty much fly by the seat of my pants a lot of the time. I like to stay open and ready for any cool thing that may catch my eye. People tell me that I'm creative, and I probably am, because I am always imagining how I can make things and do things. I LOVE your binder idea! It sounds a lot like my "Cookbook Shelf" in my kitchen. I tear out recipes from the paper and print others from the Internet. People give me some on 3x5 cards and 4x6 cards and I add them to the mix. Every few years I find myself searching for so long to find a recipe that I STOP RIGHT THEN and go get my box of beloved plastic sheet protectors and stick everything in another binder. Someday I will take the pages and sort THEM into sections, but for now that's enough organization for me! Scattered But Semi-Organized, Cheryl |
At work there are quite a few people that do the whole exercise, lose weight group thing - but they are really open and obvious about it.
Well, I have 3 co-workers, we all want/need to lose weight. But, we are all rather self-concious about our numbers and want to keep it low-key. So we started our own competition, we are putting in $2 a week and after 4 weeks whoever lost the largest percentage gets the kitty. |
