Nelie, my feet are wide no matter how much my body weighs! However, the pudge does go down and I can at least get a smaller number size!

When I bought running shoes they were a size smaller and I didn't have to search the store for a pair that was wide enought. Also my old running shoes I wear to walk to school and they are to big and I have to tie them as tight as I can.

My NSV I got dressed today and wore a blue short sleeve top (I was hoping it would be warm. Mistake) and when I looked in the mirror I noticed that I had extra room around the chese (which is normal since my chest is getting smaller) but I also noticed how much room was in the stomach. It looked huge. Then when I was eating breakfast I realized I didn't even have a tank top or a shapewear top under it (normally I wont wear a top that is semi-fitted without something under it.)

Mine is kinda silly, but SO exciting to me I ALMOST fit into a size 36 inch waist jeans! My friend gave me a pair, and they are like half an inch from doing up, I cannooooot WAIT! To me this means no more plus sizes, which I can NOT wait for..

BTW I did go out and buy my new shoes, they WERE a size smaller but still wide-width, I'm okay with that, they are very comfortable.

My NSV for today is that I went to a huge poker tournament last night (got 16th out of 175! But payout started at 12th GRRRR!) and I got hit on by TWO different guys! WHA? Not used to that kind of attention!

Congratulations on the poker tournament. I'd die if guys started hitting on me regularly. I can't stand it I've been going to this dinner prep place for the last 6 months or so (this month will be the last month), and for some reason there were a lot of guys there the last time I went. DH was supposed to meet me there but he got stuck in traffic so he was late. This one guy started eyeing me and trying to smile at me and such. I kept telling myself "DH is coming, DH is coming" and then he came and the guy stopped looking.

My NSV is that jeans that were tight just a few weeks ago are now fitting perfectly. They are jeans that I haven't worn in years - it's like finding a whole new wardrobe in your closet. Now, why didn't I keep any shirts????

Thank you for the support. I am pumping myself up for a good weekend & then I am going to start running on my lunch hours next week.

Oh - I can't wait to do yardwork like some of you are talking about. We got snow today so it'll be a couple weeks yet... Oh well!

Added 3lb handweights to the 10lb dumbbells I use when I do bicep curls. 13lbs for each arm may not seem like much, but it's exciting to improve from only being able to do 10lbs to doing 13lbs.

Yay for all these NSVs!!

Kashi, moving from 10-13 on bicep curls is a GREAT accomplishment!

My weight loss is in the little local free newspaper!! Someone interviewed all the teachers at my school who ran the 10k and I told him how much I'd lost and all that. He put it in the article and put that I'll be doing a half marathon (hey, now I REALLY have to do it!)

Another NSV today: I met my friend for dinner and I ate more than I should, so I was tempted to just go pick up my husband at the gym and go home. Instead, I went ahead and got on the treadmill and did a 5k, and I did it in 34:00, which is fast for me.

And the best NSV I've had lately... I went to a department store tonight and shopped in the regular section. I've been wearing size 16 pants but they're getting a little loose, so I tried on 14s, thinking that I was still between sizes. Nope. They fit perfectly. I haven't bought 14s since college. Yay!

Great goin' on all those clothes victories, ladies!

I measured myself this morning to record myself on my Fitday Bodylog and discovered that I lost an inch on my waist and an inch around my ribs where you measure for a new band width for a new bra. That means I have lost 13 inches in my waist since I began AND I can now go buy size 36 bras! I used to wear 44s not so long ago!! Woo Hoo!
