3.25 miles on the elliptical

royalsfan1 04-01-2007 10:20 AM

I just completely threw caution to the wind this morning! I felt good on my elliptical and I bumped up my extra lap...still felt good and thought "what the heck, I'm gonna finish this program!" so I finished the 30 MINUTE PROGRAM which for me is HUGE because I felt fine throughout....(started the elliptical at 4 minutes about 10 weeks ago)! I'm so happy.

So today - 30 minutes on the elliptical....4.5 MILES!!!!!

SwimGirl 04-01-2007 11:35 AM

After taking Friday off, Saturday I went all out, did my 6km hike/run in 58 minutes, which is 7 minutes better than my last time :) I had planned on trying to run the entire thing by the end of may, I just have to master running up and down stairs.. thats going to be a hard one for me.

Lisa - how as the 10k?

-Aimee

Aimee, the 10k was wonderful!! I ran it in 1:12, which is good for me, and I didn't walk at all, so I was quite happy. I'm so hooked now, and I'm glad I got my first race over with so I won't be as nervous in the future. I signed up for a half marathon in September!

Sunday:

icycle-did two programs for a total of forty minutes on my recumbent bike

I may do yoga or stretching later.

Congrats on your first 10K Lisa!!!

LisaMarie71 04-01-2007 08:00 PM

Thanks, Tiffany!

Today I did about 20 minutes of yoga, a 40 minute cardio kickboxing video, and 30 min of strength training (upper body and abs). I wasn't going to work out because of the 10k yesterday, but oddly I had all kinds of energy. My husband was laughing at me for jumping all around -- he said, "You must not have run hard enough in the race yesterday!"

SexyRevealed 04-01-2007 10:17 PM

Well, today I loafed around and did nothing. My buns are so sore from the sculpting tape yesterday, but I still could have taken a walk. So now it's 10:00 and I'm mad that I didn't even try. I know it would have given me more energy for the rest of the day. Well, no excuses for tomorrow. I'm going to walk on my break at work and then do some type of cardio at home after work. Looking forward to a great week!
