Default Shameless plugs/I could be a spokesperson

I hope 3FC allows us to promote our shameless plugs

What company or product could you be a spokesperson for?

There is a local company here that also sells it's products online...and is sooo good!

Let me introduce you to www.naturalovens.com out of wisconsin! High fiber, natural, filling bake products. Some of my favs (btw.. my whole family eats this stuff!) are bagels, carob chip cookies, and the dinner rolls.

I love this stuff so much I took a tour of their factory!

What could you be a spokesperson for?

Well this isn't a food product but I would love to send in like my "testimonial" or whatever to Billy Blanks Tae-bo and Windsor Pilates when I get to goal. Send in the before and after shots and my story and such. I love both workouts for different reasons.

Tae-bo really is motivational and very high-action. I totally sweat and feel strong.

Pilates stretches me out and makes me feel longer and leaner.

I recommend both highly!

One of my favorite things is my breakfast shake drink. I really like the ingredients and it is pretty filling. It is vegan and organic. The taste is an acquired one but I really like having it as part of my eating plan:

The other thing I really like and encourage anyone to buy if they have it in their stores is The Baker bread. Awesome ingredients, good tasting and fairly low calorie too.

OK, I found these this weekend. It's an offshoot company of Frita-Lay, called Flat Earth, they make veggie and grain based chips. Yes, CHIPS. Holy crap they are YUMMMMMMY!! A serving<1 oz, roughly 12-14 chips> is half a serving of veggies.

Wow, I'm gonna check out those books for sure.

I could be a spokesperson for vegetables. I have always liked them, but now they are just transforming my life. I eat so many vegetables every day.

And Fiber One Cereal.

And water.

OK, on Robins many many MANY recommendations for Fiber One, I bought some. HOLY TOLEDO BATMAN!! That stuff ROCKS!! It's naturally sweet so it's not your granny's version of fiber, trust me. Goes great in yogurt, salad and plain ole milk. I also bought some of the Fiber One Oats N Chocolate bars and those are sensational! I can't have those in my house though, I went through the box of 5 in 3 days. Matt did have one, but still, it was supposed to be for cravings or when I just wanted something a bit more rich. The bars caused some serious triggers for me.

I hate that FiberOne is made with aspartame, because I can't have it, and there is NO alternative that is that high in fiber and as low in cals. Makes me sad :-(

Produce boxes via CSAs are my shameless plug. You get to support local agriculture, eat fresh organic produce for less than what you'd pay in a supermarket for the same products, and receive the foods within a day or two of being picked. Also, you get to try fun things you've never tried before because they come in your box and you have to use them up! Check www.localharvest.org to see if there is a CSA in your area.

Gardenburger original burgers. Love them open faced on a 4" ww pita w/a dollop of bbq sauce.

Stonyfield Farms organic fat free plain yogurt. I love the yogurt with some frozen blueberries or raspberries mixed in. It's not as sour tasting as other plain ff yogurts. It rocks!

I agree with Glory and Mrs. Quadcrew. I've have been on this earth for 46 years this week and finally have read things about weight and nutrition that make sense. The big thing is I can live my life healthier and thinner because of those two books and I know I will reach my goal.
