RHONDA . . . I never had a flat tummy . . . not even at 110 pounds (that number I remember achieving once for about 3 weeks, back in the days when dinosaurs still roamed the earth :D) Since then, as well as two children, I also had an emergency appendectomy, coupled with all this excess weight . . . flat stomach . . . not in this lifetime for me. ;)

Yes I too wondered what my fibroid weighs, I call it Francine. Francine the fibroid. I was told it was the size of an orange. Anyway, I am 43 and certainly won't be having any more kids, but was hoping to hang onto my uterus nevertheless. I keep meaning to call my doctor, I've compiled a list of questions for her (including what it might weigh), but for some reason just keep pushing it off. I tend to do that with unpleasant things. I was also told I would need abdominal surgery because of the size and therefore recovery is quite a bit longer then vaginally.

Well good luck to you on your cataract surgery as well as the hysterectomy. I hope all goes well and you have a super speedy recovery. Keep in touch.

I'm with you on body stuff. I've been down to 175, 5 years ago. Even at that time I had tiny stick-ish thighs/legs/arms, but my back and abs still had an excessive amount of fat. What I've learned recently is that most of our population has these "issues" and to get clothing to fit right you need to succumb to the need for tailoring. EXPENSIVE - especially when you're buying (hopefully) temporary clothing. Very frustrating!

And I complain about pants because I have to go up in sizes to fit my damn hips. Then, the belly is way to big and I get that huge back gap.

So, who then, are they making these clothes for? I thought it was for you gals who carried in the middle?:?: :dizzy:

ETA - MrsQuadcrew, you mention the scar as proof that your son existed - did you lose him? I call my c/s scar my Andrew scar - I'm very glad that I was able to vbac my daughter - that's a special scar just reserved for my boy (and I hope to keep it that way for future kids, too).
