Rhonda... we are so with you on this! I'm there every day... every hour sometimes. For me I had to learn about forgiveness - see the link http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...ht=forgiveness
We need to forgive ourselves when we slip so we can get back on. Quitting is not an option. You know that if you quit today you will end up coming back here 6 months from now - probably weighing more then when you started. Sometimes that is my only motivation. I've worked so hard the last 5 weeks to get this far - and I know you have to. Slip ups are going to happen... quitting can not. hugs sweetie! :grouphug: |
Rhonda, I swear your post looks like I could have written it. I've started and quit so many things so many times it's crazy. You are right though. ONE DAY AT A TIME! Glad to see you here today.

Hey Rhonda! As a fellow quitter, I completely understand how you feel! And it seems that when I am losing my motivation, I look back on the things I have not followed through on (learning to sew, writing a novel, learning to play guitar) and I think to myself, "Why should losing weight be any different? I'm going to flunk out on this too!"
But we just can't think that way. EVER. I read something written by either Bob Greene or Dr. Oz (I'm reading both books, so no wonder I'm confused!) where it said something to the extent of "You can't wait for motivation to stay on track. You just have to do it and the motivation will follow as you see results." You can do this, girl! We can all do this! |
