Today I did a 4.25 mile run/walk and thought I might die. I can run 4 miles, I've done it before, but I can't when there are crazy hills like there were today! I clearly need to work on that! Had to take several walk breaks.

Then I did a 10-minute segment on a DVD -- stretching using the stability ball.

I went to the gym this morning and did some abs on the ball, 30 minutes on the precor and 30 on the treadmill (both running and walking at an incline). My average heart rate was 165 which is ideal for me yay!

I've never posted here, mainly because I've never actually exercised while trying to lose weight, and that never really works does it?

But! I went on a 1.5 mile hike with my husband today. We were in Chimney Rock, NC on a little trip, and I wanted to see the waterfall! We used to do things like this all the time, and I was so upset that I almost didn't make it to the falls. This has really cemented my choice to get rid of this weight!

Kitten - it seems like we each one have had a "this is it" moment. Mine was when my father in law started discussing a family trip to Italy. I just knew there was no way I was going to huff and puff my way around Rome!

sorry I've been so lazy with my posting!
I've been at the gym regularly...biggest change from the usual...I started running..not much...3-4 minute bursts with brisk up hill walking in between...but its a lot seeing as how I haven't actually run since i was in high school! My a$$ is killing me...but in a good way!

Honestly? I have done jack crap dookie, ALL WEEK! Well, I walked 4 miles on Monday, 1 mile on Tuesday, and um, pretty much nothing until today. I suck.

Ok, done with THAT. I did take the breathing, spitballs of Satan to the local flea market today, we walked for about 45 minutes. Then, we came home and played soccer in the yard for 30 minutes or so today.

Today I did the following:

35 minutes cardio kickboxing video
40 minutes stability ball workout (upper body, lower body, core, and flexibility)
60 minutes yoga DVD

I feel like I was very thorough today!
