Mentioned in Oprah?
 

Remember when some of us were talking about the fantasy of losing all of our weight and going on Oprah together? I heard a rumor that 3FC was mentioned in Oprah magazine. Anybody have that issue? What does it say?

I haven't seen it, but I did see a note on here this morning from someone who joined up here because she saw it in the Oprah magazine -- what did we start???:dizzy: :D

We've not seen the article yet, but we were interviewed by O magazine some time back for an article about dieting online. The article appears in the March issue, which will hit the stands around Feb 20. Many subscribers have already received thier copies :)

What is it that they say? Be careful what you wish for or something like that? We are in BIG trouble now. BIG. I can not even imagine what this place is gonna be like in a couple of weeks. :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

You know, I bet they probably list a few websites, I found a few when I was looking around. So, Robin -- hopefully the newbies will spread out evenly among them. And, it's good for Oprah -- I'll probably get the magazine just to see what they say!!

I hope we get the seriously commited ones that really want to do this. I hate starting to get to know someone and they disappear.

Eh. We survive new year's resolutions, we'll survive Oprah.

I'm new here this year but I was thinking the same thing.

Every January at my gym 100's of people join and the staff states that every year by March most of them are gone. And, I'm in trouble, I think I was the one who started the whole "Oprah" conversation about contacting her -- please don't kick me out of here -- I really like it :D

I know this website has been a godsend -- no one knows what losing weight is like except those who are or have gone through it -- My husband thinks it's like when he quit smoking, you just make up your mind and you do it. I wish it was that easy.

So, if 100's join but only a few stay -- maybe one of them is someone you will "click" with?? I know I could use a few buddys!!!

I say bring them on. Maybe they will stick around and get healthier with us!
