  • Happy February everybody!!! We started this thread on January 11th. We filled up 20 pages worth, so I thought we'd make it a monthly. I for one find it to be one of my very favorite threads. As I read the daily reasons day after day, I often find myself nodding in agreement to many of the things are posted.

    This thread is about starting our day off with ONE reason for sticking to our new lifestyle. It could be health related, vanity related or anything else that comes to mind. I think we all have days that we need to be reminded of just why we're making the sacrifices that we are and we say to ourselves, "Ummm, why am I doing this again?." Or perhaps just to reinforce our new lifestyles. It is meant to provide us all with a little extra motivation. Of course there are hundreds of reasons that we're sticking to our plans, but what's the ONE thing that's gonna do if for you today?
  • The ONE reason I'm staying on plan today is because:
    Quite frankly, I'm terrified of not losing anymore weight. I've got a long way to go and a lot more to accomplish. I am trying to avoid the inevitable plataeu, so today I will be staying on plan.
  • The ONE reason I am staying on plan today is to do better lowing my carbs. According to my pie chart on FitDay, I am eating WAY too many carbs. I also want to up my fiber. I had my first bowl of Fiber One cereal this morning. I hope that it will grow on me, but I AM glad to know that I already injested 14 grams of fiber for the day.

    My primary goal is to lose weight in my arms so my mother-of-the-groom dress I bought fits well in the arms. My upper arms are a real trouble zone for me. I know that I can spot reduce, so losing weight is my only way of making everything smaller!

    My ULTIMATE GOAL is to weigh what I weighed on my own wedding day at our son's wedding in August. I have forty-seven pounds to go!

    All my clothes are getting looser!! I have been able to wear shirts that were too snug around my middle - and they FIT now!
  • The ONE reason I am staying on plan today is because the last couple of days I have been slacking, and do not wanna gain back what I just lost!
  • I love this thread!! Not only do I get to name a reason why I'm doing it, which reminds me of how important it is, but I get to read everyone else's reasons, which I usually share. Every day we have all these great reminders of why we're working so hard and committing to this weight loss journey.

    My one reason today is because I just feel so much lighter, like I take up less space in the world, and it feels good!
  • G'morning!! My reason for staying on plan today is I want to fit into some new clothes I bought which are three sizes too small. (I usually don't go that small with my 'carrots' but they were extremely cheap and cute. Reg. $69.00 dress for $14.00, etc. So Imma get into them this year!!
