I really need to watch this. I'm a former fast-foodie, and like you Colleen I would eat out at least 5-6 times per week. I haven't been to any fast food restaurant since I started. I know they offer healthy choices, but I don't even want to go near one. I'm going to rent this tomorrow.

I re-watched it last night too. It's definitely a good reminder...
Sometimes we'll have a Mac Attack and have to have something.. but for the most part, we pick different fast food places, and better choices. |
I think everyone who wants to diet...should watch it once :)

I watched this movie awhile back. it was very very goood. I really felt motivated by it to keep fastfood away from my daughter and I. Another good tid bit is the book Fast Food Nation! Everyone needs to read that one before they feed their kids, imho.

Well .. I just watched the movie tonight... AMAZING. Why hadn't I watched it before.
This movie is a must for everyone. One part I didn't like.. but understood .. was the focus so much on McDonalds. I believe all fast food is the same .. just like McDonalds, in terms of the damage it can do to your body. I think I should make watching this movie part of my weekly diet. Dana |

My mother has a friend who teaches kindergarten in the USA in Indiana. She had to do a unit every year on how to use silverware because many of her students had never really had a sit down meal, many of them were from very very low income households and ate fast food and prepared pre-packaged food only.
It makes me very worried about the future health of these children. I think movies like "Super size me" are excellent tools that should be used to educate people about the dangers of fast food. I hope more documentaries like this are made. |
