I don't think I could stick to a plan I had to choke down either. Mine is not a problem of taste, I like new tastes. I however am sensitive to texture. I to this day can't eat jello.... slimmy stuff makes me shudder.

I had a hard time choking down oatmeal. In my mind, it just wasn't a 'good' breakfast. Of course, back then my idea of a 'good' breakfast was a chicken fried steak & eggs, hash browns & a pancake on the side. For one meal. Unreal.

I started out with the flavored oatmeals, then the weight control, and now I eat it plain, with a lot of cinnamon, a touch of honey & raisins or peanut butter, however I am feeling that day.

What is it that you are having a hard time with? Veggies? Meats?

I totally get that way, but it's usually when a staple in my diet suddenly is no longer appealing. For example, I love broccoli, always have. Until I ate so much of it everyday that one day I took a bite and thought I was going to hurl. I had to stay away from it for almost a year until it sounded good again. I think you got some great advice here, though, so I'll defer to them!

Thanks everyone. I think I gave you all a mental picture here that I was gagging my dinner down the entire time. That was not the case. I have however concluded it must have been my chicken I like chicken....but I can never make it like chicken on salads at a resteraunts. I don't know if I am not cooking it right, or what....but I think that is what did it. Thanks everyone for the suggestions...I did much better with tonights dinner
