Hi Glendareneee!

Welcome! You may want to edit your post to take your email address out. Bad folks are out there looking for stuff like that.

You've stumbled on a great place! Why not start today instead of waiting for 1/1/2007? You can still enjoy the holidays without going overboard. Just make a few small healthy changes and you'll have a headstart on all those people waiting for January 1st to begin!

Good luck to you!

Welcome! I think it's great that you've found us, and I hope you'll jump in and post often. Let us get to know you better and the more you surf around, the more help and ideas you'll get.

I think waiting until the first is okay, it gives you time to decide on how you want to change your lifestyle and to plan and prepare for it, but I agree that you can start somewhat now by just trying not to overdo it during the holidays. It's so hard when there's so many treats floating around!

Hi Glendarenee!

You are right that this is a GREAT site! I am inspired every day by so many people who have accomplished so much and by those who are out there struggling JUST LIKE ME! When you have a lot of weight to lose it can seem impossible, but the many wonderful sisters and even a few brothers here are here to PROVE that it IS possible!

Read a lot, post a lot, and I wish you much luck and success on YOUR journey!
