This recipe is excellent!! I made it with apple juice instead of orange, and do know that it makes a huge blender-full– next time, I’d blend it all up, then pour out half to keep in fridge. Fill blender with ice cubes and blend; when the blended stuff is gone, then grab the pre-made mix in the fridge for more! Excellent and very healthy!

I loved this!! You get your veggies in the morning, your fruit, your dairy….I’ve adapted this over the last couple of months to fit me, of course. I like to avoid the processed sugar when I can, and I’m more likely to have vanilla yogurt in the house than skim evaporated milk so here’s what I do: 1/3 cup pumpkin, 1/2 of a 6oz container of vanilla fat free yogurt, 1/4cup o.j., and an entire frozen banana–frozen to make the smoothie thicker and an entire banana to replace the sweetness of the brown sugar. Oh, and don’t forget to throw in a little cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or pumpkin pie spice. Makes it YUM-my!!!!
