So it’s around 7am and workout 1 is done!  I don’t feel as out of shape as I thought I would doing Jillian’s version of a workout.  I did struggle with a few moves and had to make my own modifications.  For instance, pushups suck for me and I have to work on doing them correctly.  I also realized that my right leg is weaker than my left leg.  I thought it was the other way around, but no.  I had surgery a few years ago so abs are always a challenge for me.  For most of the strength work I used 5lb weights.  For shoulder work I used 3lbs.

Overall I love Jillian’s style, but she seems to be yelling to me in this workout.  After a while though I was concentrating more on not passing out then her voice…lol.  She was very encouraging in her approach.  She does raze the participants as she always does and I like that as it lightens the mood.
