I am trying SO HARD!

I don’t know why I can’t keep up with this anymore.  I enjoy reading more than writing I guess.   I have been stalled for quite some time.  I set goals, but they really didn’t ”stick” to me like I had hoped.

So the good news first!

Goal #1 – I am drinking 64 ounces of water a day!

Goal #2 – I generally get over 10,000 steps per day, but I don’t always make it to 11,000.

Goal #3 – I have had a Slim Fast for breakfast everyday.

Goal #5 – I have been exercising daily.

Goal # 6 – I have been getting more sleep!

Then the goal s that haven’t gone so well –

Goal #4 – I have not been attending OA meetings.

Goals #7 – I have the hardest time documenting on FitDay.  I’d rather just carry a journal.

Goal #8 – I’m smoking again.  This is the most upsetting one.

I seem to be trying to stick to it, my heart must just be into it.  I’m going keep trying.

  1. I really like goals and think they are good. It is proven that people who write their goals have like 7x the success of people who don’t write them. All that said – I’ve been having the same issue for some time but have learned a couple tricks that help me, not to obsess over them and also to lower my goals when they aren’t working. Right now my only real goal is to make good food choices most of the time. It’s working, but I’m looking forward to getting back to exercising, etc. Don’t beat yourself up on the smoking, either. It will come if you keep trying. Pat yourself on the back for being willing to keep trying on these, that is the sign of a true winner! Delita
