Muay Thai Reaction

OH MY GOSH… KICKBOXING ROCKS!

I went to the class. We started out with jump-rope work to get me all warmed up. Well, mid-way through, my knee went kaput. It hurt like crazy! I kept going though, I wanted to finish.

I learned basic stuff like how to move, right and left punches, knee and elbow jabs and most importantly blocking. 🙂

I had the absolute time of my life (well, besides the whole knee thing). We spent about 45 minutes sweating and doing stuff. It felt like about 5 minutes. As soon as I do whatever I need to do to my knee, I am SO doing this regularly. It was invigorating. It was stress-relieving. It was empowering! It was down right rockin!

Just goes to show that no one knows me better than ME! This is for me. I can see looking forward to going to classes twice a week. It’s a real bummer that I can’t right now.
