30 Day Shred

Well, today, I attempted Jillian’s 30 Day Shred.  I have owned this dvd for a long time and did it a few times, but I let my friend borrow it and she loves it and does it 3 days a week.  So, I decided that today I would do it with her.  Oh my goodness, I am so out of shape.  My arms and legs are still hurting and we did it this morning around 8am!  I am so tired.  I have a feeling I’ll be popping some ibuprofen before bedtime and getting a good night’s sleep.  So, anyone who has not tried 30DS and is looking for a good quick workout, check out this dvd.  It has 3 levels that are 20 minutes long, but because Jillian wants you to get a good workout in 20 minutes, she really pushes you and gets your heart rate up and your muscles working.  You will be able to feel it after you are done if not before you are done.  I was hurting before the 20 minutes was up.  It does involve some high impact exercises that involve jumping, like jumping jacks.  You really get a total body workout.  Cardio, abs, strength, stretching all in one!  So, check it out…you will be impressed.
