…With Shirataki noodles in 5…4…3…2…1

Amg, delicious! Rubbery though, but that is somehow quite nice! They give a tiny bit of give just how I used to eat my ramen (how Leslie got fat alert) coming up as a latchkey kid.

If you wanna try what I just did, grab some shirataki noodle bundles and dump about 4 of the little squiggly looking bastards in two servings of instant Miso soup. Result? Delicious and fun. And it’s very light, too! About, uh,77 calories all together for this soup? 30 x 2 for the miso packs and then a solid 17 calories for the shirataki noodlies. And yet it tastes so freaking gourmet’d out. Highly recommending these, my little “ghetto engineered” soup dish.

What I ate today!

Same chicken salad as yesterday sans the Chow Mein noodles and with about a table spoon of red wine vinaigrette in it’s place./ Roast beef wrap with Vegenaise, lettuce, tomato, provolone and red onions/ sugar free Red Bull and I splurged on a coupla Reese’s peanut butter cups. Havent had sweets in like 3 months, figured I would give myself a break. And finally, the food mentioned above.

Even with my Red Bull and chocolate splurge (shockingly the Red Bull had very few calories for such a giant can) I made it to about 1,230 calories.

Ah, ha! Not bad! However, it is 4:30 am and I still haven’t worked out. Unacceptable. So, soon as I finish my science experiment I’m gonna do that der Walk Away the Pounds, browse the intrawebz some more or watch South Park and then hit the freaking hay.

EDIT:  Actually without my planned Edamame in that mix I am minus about 120 calories, sooo…Gonna have a glass of milk with that flavor-drop madness again to even it out almost exactly.
