Awesome website!

A girl from my hometown who is a year older than myself, has started a blog on facebook about her weightloss. So far she has lost 135.5 lbs through Weight Watchers and has really been inspiring me to get back on track. I am not sure if you can see the blog.

She also talks about this awesome blog, Check it out! It’s full of healthy recipes and point values in weight watchers. I sooo need a food processor to begin making my own hummus..the second recipe she has posted. She also makes these individually portioned meals with a muffin pan..they look so cute!

Today I went to the mall with Myra, got a turkey sandwich from Tim Horton’s on whole wheat and a peanut butter cookie. They are my weakness..I need to make a healthier P B cookie or just begin eating a tablespoon of PB a day to take away the craving, lol.

As I type this lying down, my cuddly kitten is on my chest and purring away!

Have a great day ladies 🙂

Hi, Ang! I checked out that blog as well as the Emily Bites website. Talk about delicious-looking foods! Yum, yum! Right now, I’m pretty much low-carbing, so a lot of those foods are out of boundaries for me. But once I start adding things back in, this site will be a go-to for me. Thanks for sharing!

Checked out the FB blog, she looks great! I need to ask her how she toned her arms up!

Awww! I could never forget you, beautiful friend! I try to be as creative as possible when low-carbing. For breakfast, I could eat an egg white omelette with cheese and baby spinach. And turkey bacon! I love turkey bacon, hehe. Snacks are string cheese, nuts, protein shakes with 2g of net carbs. Lunch and dinner are a combination of protein and veggies… I know it doesn’t sound so interesting (and sometimes it does get pretty boring, lol) but it’s been working for me so far. I know that low-carb will not be a permanent solution and that I will eventually transition to other foods. But for a short time for accelerated weight loss, I don’t think it’s a bad thing!
