There are plenty of snack foods available on the anti-aging diet. You just need to know where to look. Most people think of snack foods as unhealthy, but it’s actually important to snack once or twice during the day between meals. Just make sure you pick the right snacks foods.

1. Nuts and seeds

Just about everyone agrees, nuts and seeds are a staple in the anti-aging diet. You may be thinking, wait a minute, aren’t nuts and seeds full of fats and calories? That’s true, but as long as you eat nuts in moderation, they provide many health benefits.

Like nuts, avocados are high in fat and need to be eaten in moderation. However, they provide many health benefits that make them important for the anti-aging diet. Like nuts, these healthy treats contain Vitamin E. In addition, they contain nutrients such as the antioxidant gluthione which helps with a number of age related diseases.

4. Apples

The old saying about keeping the doctor away isn’t without its truth. Apples are healthy and nutritious, and an important part of the anti-aging diet. Apples help you keep healthy lungs and a healthy heart. They also protect you from colon cancer and high cholesterol.

5. Apricots

Apples and berries are not the only fruits recommended on the anti-aging diet. Apricots are full of antioxidants known as carotenoids. They protect against heart disease, as well as lower cholesterol. Like apples, apricots can also protect you from cancer.

6. Mixed Veggies
