It is important to use a lotion or makeup that contains high SPF in order to prevent sun damage, even when you’re not putting yourself directly under the sun.

4. Eat Your Vegetables

In order to keep your skin looking its best, it is essential that you eat lots of colorful vegetables. Vegetables contain high amounts of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants that are not only important for good health, but can treat and prevent the development of fine lines, cancer and age spots. Be sure to eat a variety of different vegetables in order to get the most balanced diet possible. Dietitians typically recommend “eating across the rainbow”–this means eating vegetables in a variety of colors in order to get lots of different vitamins and minerals.

5. Use a Moisturizer

Finally, be sure to use a moisturizer in order to keep your skin looking great. Use a high quality moisturizer at night before you go to bed, and again in the morning during your daily routine. Be sure to do some research on the moisturizer you are interested in before purchasing it; it is important to make sure that it is designed for your skin and will provide the most benefits.
