1. Walking For The Brain Benefits
One of the exercises that is known to be best for your brain is walking, and it is so simple that anyone can do it. This activity increase the blood flow and helps the oxygen and glucose reach your brain. Because of how easy on your body it is, walking does not put any stress on your legs like other forms of exercise can. A walk will effectively keep your brain oxygenated, helping you think clearer. Another simple exercise that can be done to boost brain power is using the stairs. Creating a small routine involving walking up and down the stairs is an easy way to make your blood flow and increase your brain power.
3. Morning Brain Exercise
Brain stimulating exercise is as easy as wiggling your toes in the morning before you get out of bed. Move them any way they feel comfortable, including wiggling, stretching and scrunching. You can move all your toes up and down multiple times, or simply stick with moving your big toes. The movement in your toes is known to activate certain nerves that stimulate your brain as well as your internal organs. This exercise is not just limited to when you first wake up either, you can do it after you have been sitting for a prolonged period of time in order to help you awaken once again and raise your levels of alertness quicker. This simple action could cause your entire body to feel more engagingly energized. This will also make your first few steps of each day, as well as all the ones to follow, safer and make you less likely to fall off balance.
The activity of physical exercise has been proven to effectively protect the brain against the effects of and the disease known as Alzheimer’s. A study based off of data collected from almost five-thousand men and women who were over the age of sixety-five found that those who complete regular exercise were less likely to experience a loss of mental abilities. These same exercising seniors were found to have a smaller chance of developing dementia, including Alzheimer’s. It has also been suspected that the more someone participates in exercise, the more their  brain will be protected, and this is especially true for women.
