Who the Juice Diet Is Right for

The juice diet is one of the most effective ways to naturally detoxify the body from harmful toxins that weigh the body down and cause disease. All that is consumed on this diet is freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. The juice is low in fiber, but high in vitamins and minerals, which not only purge out the toxins, but help to restore nutrients. This makes the body strong and healthy.

Even though this diet may be hard on the body, there are many benefits that make the juice diet right for just about anyone, especially those suffering from the following:

Obesity

The juice diet is the quickest way to lose excess weight. Depending on how many pounds you need to lose, you could lose up to a pound or more a day. The first couple of days you may lose more because you are losing water weight. But after 3 days your body will begin to lose excess fat cells.

Because no solid food is consumed during this time the metabolism slows down, which means that you will not require as much food after the diet is completed. Therefore, it is very important that you refrain from consuming excess foods or junk foods after the diet in order to keep the weight off.

After the juice diet is done, it is very important to continue with a healthy diet of lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as plenty of water. This will prevent constipation from reoccurring.
