The Live Food Factor Diet: 8 Foods to Avoid

The Live Food Factor Diet promotes a raw food lifestyle. Dieters are encouraged to eat 100 percent raw food for optimum nutrition, and only eat as much as their bodies need. Because the Live Food Factor Diet is so nutritious, many who have followed this diet have been able to reverse conditions such as asthma, cancer, heart disease and arthritis. However, to obtain these benefits you will need to eliminate a lot of foods from your diet.

Cooked Foods

Anything that is cooked above 118 degrees F should be avoided on the Live Food Factor Diet. This basically includes anything that you cook such as soups and stews, as well as fried foods, stir-fries and baked dishes.

The reason you want to avoid cooked foods is because it is believed that the heat from cooking destroys the enzymes that are needed for the body to function and maintain its energy and health. When the body does not get the enzymes it needs from the food you eat, it is forced to produce its own, thus causing you to feel tired and worn out. 

Processed Foods

All forms of processed foods should also be eliminated from your diet, as they are also cooked, and often contain harmful food additives, flavorings and other chemicals. This includes fast foods and most restaurant dishes, as well as anything that comes in a box, can or bottle.

Meats

All meats should be avoided because it needs to be cooked before it is safe to eat. This includes beef, pork, poultry, fish and other sea food.

Eggs

Baked Goods

Canned Foods

Microwaved Foods
