Seriously, as they say on Grey’s, I haven’t missed him that much and it has been almost three weeks. LOL
Thanks for all of your support and well wishes. I was really surprised to find out it was a boy. Luckily I had not committed either way. DS was definitely disappointed, I think it is direct competition with a boy. He is very competitive… but he will adjust. There will be 6 1/2 years between them, so hopefully they will have a great relationship when they get older.
DH was relieved that it was healthy and he was non-committal either way on if he wanted a boy or girl. DS said, “well maybe the doctor is wrong and it is really a girl!” Maybe… but he was sitting butt up for the ultrasound, so she got a pretty good view.
The funny thing is that the due date according to the ultrasound is the exact date that you calculate from the first day of your last period… which is also the exact date of my friends expected due date. They will stick to my old due date because they feel the earlier ultrasounds are more reliable.
Despite the good news… still feeling pukey. I keep hoping that one morning I will wake up and it will magically be gone! Well I better get to work. DS has the day off, so DH is going to stay home with him.

I got out and took the dog on a LONG walk yesterday...and since she still pulls a bit when we walk, it was at a pace that made me sweat...LOL So there you go....day one, back on track. LOL Thanks for all the encouraging comments yesterday...yes, I know all this is true, yet still, a part of me continues to rebel at times, can’t say why...and all the wisdom in the world doesn’t really make a difference. I guess it is just my stubborn taurus astrological sign coming out! LOL But I will do it....anyway…
Ive fallin off track majorly… not foodwise. Im still perfect with that. But with the gym. Ive been staying up late working on setting up and cleaning the office. So i made a promise to myself that starting on Monday i will go to the gym every single day. if i have time ill go today and hopefully ill get some in over the weekend. Work is awesome. I had a huge test i forgot about and they let me out early to study for it. The test on the other hand..... yea not so good. I think i got like a D. I didnt leave any answers blank though. I at least tried to guess what the answer was. The test was all fill in the blank (no word bank) and im just really not good at that. But i guess i better get good at it if i want to pass this class. Im not sure i still want to be a paralegal though. Im going to continue to get my degree in it but i dont think ill use it. I really want to go ahead and get my teaching degree. lol from paralegal to teacher… Ok well i have to run I hope everyone has a great day! Cant wait for apple picking tomorrow!!! SOOOO EXCITED!

Answering the door after dark .... by ceejay
One of my least favorite things to do is answer the door after dark. A and D came down last night but I wanted to get some things done before I went to bed so I didn’t answer the door. I’m trying very hard to stay on schedule and visiting with them for thirty minutes to an hour takes away from my time. This afternoon around noon once again they appeared at the door. I told them that I made a new rule not to answer the door after dark. She said that some more people were telling them that they were busy-- You’d think they would get the hint. They wanted to mow the yard this afternoon but told them I got paid tomorrow and they could do it then. Luckily for me yard mowing season is just about over with. Another thing that annoys me is they seem to come when I’m about to eat a meal.
A nice suprise at the gas pump this week is that the price is going down. The owners were price goughing and were caught and now they are having to pay a 10,000 dollar fine. Last week gas was 3.19/gallon and this week I had to drive back by to read the sign again. Yes, 2.89 a gallon so I filled up the tank. I usually get it cheaper at Jonesboro and Paragould than here. I’m going to cry if it’s twenty cents cheaper there.
I weighed again this morning but was up a pound to 186.2 ughhh. Probably not enough water. I know there has not been enough today.
I’ve been looking at some recipes but don’t know the calorie counts on them. I made a meat loaf for next week and will be fixing a chicken dish that sounds really good, and a blueberry dessert. I bought some smaller baking dishes that are perfect for me. I can use one and freeze the other. I need to buy a couple of more.
That boss of mine is driving me crazy. Yesterday she actually asked me if I could come in and work two days while I am on vacation. HELLO I thought the whole point of being on vacation was not to go in to work!! lol One of the days she needs me to come in is my DD 16th birthday. I told her no that I had plans and I can’t change them. I asked for this vacation 5 months ago. It’s the last week of October that I am taking off. I really don’t have a lot of plans except to relax and get rid of all the stress work heaps on me. Where Iwork you have to use up all your vacation time before your anniversary date with the company because it will not carryover into the next year and my anniv. with work is in Nov. I get 3 weeks pd vacation a year and the dept I work in won’t let you take vacationsin Aug.,Sept.,Nov. or Dec.
