In order to drop one full pants size, a lot of hard work must be accomplished. A person is required to lose 10 to 20 pounds, depending on height and whether or not a workout plan to tone muscles is also being followed, in order to drop one pants size.
Reaching the Goal
This goal can be difficult to obtain for many, especially if you take into account the number of calories that must be burned in order to achieve this goal. One pound of fat is equal to 3,500 calories. Therefore, a person would need to burn 35,000 to 70,000 calories to be able to drop one pants size. This calorie count does not take into account the amount of calories that are consumed throughout the day through food and drink.
The daily recommended diet is 1,200 calories; however, many people consume diets that consist of much higher calorie counts. So, these are additional calories that would need to be burned in order to be able to drop the pants size. A piece of good news is that most people burn anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 calories just through daily activities and during sleep. This goal is attainable if hard work and determination are present.
