1. Fried Bananas
Fried bananas are a tasty fruit dessert for those on a diet. Slice one banana in half lengthwise and coat it very lightly in brown sugar. Place the banana in a hot skillet, and fry both sides for two to five minutes.
2. Grilled Fruits
Many fruits, including mangoes, peaches, nectarines and pineapples, can be grilled. Coat fruits lightly in canola oil before grilling and grill for five to seven minutes on each side. You can sprinkle a small amount of brown sugar over your grilled fruit, though you might find that it’s not necessary as grilling brings out the natural sweet flavor of the fruit itself.
