Ok - that sucks. I wrote a post and posted it before dinner tonight and it never showed up. Hmph.

Anyway - I wanted to say good job Misty for sticking to your plan all week. Great job Nikki for getting up early and exercising today . And Eyeore - YUM on those creek fries. Maybe when we all reach our goal we can have a bite of them . But only a bite because it doesn't sound like we'd be at goal very long if we ate those.

Nikki - The pool we swim at is set up in 25 yard lengths. 36 lengths is half a mile, 72 is a mile, 108 is a mile and a half, etc. If I want to do something crazy like 3/4 mile, I make DH calculate it for me lol.

I have 3 more interviews (I've already had 5) in the morning for a job at another company. Should be an interesting week. My current job has given me a verbal offer for about 9k more a year, now I am just waiting on a written offer. In the meantime, I'm seriously pursuing my other options. It will be a tough decision between the two if I get the raise at work and the other job offer. Should be an interesting week.

What will be even more interesting is if both of my posts show up. Good luck on the plans tomorrow everyone!

~Summer

Good Morning.
Sums- I would never be able to swim and calculate the miles at the same time lol.

Eey- Those fries sound so yummy but are such a no no lol. I like Sums idea of us all sharing them

Misty- good luck on your weigh in tonight. And congrats on sticking to the plan. I really think having the smaller goal within the challenge helps. I went over my origional goal this week did 4 instead of 3 workouts.

I switched my weigh in to right after I wake up and pee. I weighed in and lost a pound. woohooo a full pound. I went through all of August losing tenths of a pound and gaining it back. So I am now at 165.0 19 more to go. :

I had a big long vent typed in, but decided not to drag you guys down with it. Let's sum it up, my job sucks and my husband is an a$$.

I did half a workout. I will try to redo the whole thing as I was interruppted, if not half is better than none. No. I will redo the entire workout. I committed to doing the program and I will!

Hope eveyrone else is having a better day than me. Good luck on your interviews Summer!

YAY for Onederland! Great job Smitsy!

Today was a rough day food wise. I missed my shake for breakfast because I had early interviews and didn't get to work until lunchtime. So I missed some of my meds, well just one pill, the others I took with lunch. Lunch made me kind of sick - sometimes my stomach has a hard time digesting lettuce for whatever weird reason. So my salad didn't sit too well. THEN, went over to a friends for dinner who apparently doesn't understand the meaning of my limited starch allowances. It was a delicious meal, but I had to be very careful about quantity of items. He made porkchops in the oven (not breaded) which were okay to eat, potatoes (not okay), bread (not okay) and peas (okay). Left a bit hungry so DH made eggs for me when I got home so I could get my protein in at least.

Tomorrow I'll get up early and paddle my way around (okay so I don't just paddle) at the pool.

Good night ladies!

Good morning ladies! I am sill sanding on my treadmill. I just finished my 30 minute "cardio walk". I have to do 20 minutes at 3-4 mph, plus a 5 min. warm up and cool down. The problem is between 3.5 and 4 is really hard for me to maintain, not because I get winded, but b/c my legs are so short and it's kind of between and walk and a run for me. Well maybe as I get more in shape I can do it at a higher speed. For now I went with 3 mph but I increased the incline. 3 on it's own just isn't much of a workout. maybe in future weeks as my time increases I will feel more "worked"

Summer, sorry you aren't feeling well yet. Since lettuce is one of teh few things you can eat, I hope that you feel better with it soon. Maybe you could put a shake at work for emergencies? My diet is not as restrictive as yours, but I am finding that I need to pack stuff when I go visiting. I don't want to offend people, but this is more important to me than making people happy. At least in theory, now I just actually have to remember to pack stuff before I can leave.

Thanks for all the encourgament guys!!! Have a great day!

Misty big congrats to you and everyone wlse whom made a loss happen! Good for all of you!
Yesterday I tried to jump back in completely but had one slip up. Not too bad when you figure I made it the rest of the day. I was out shopping for the grandkids school clothes. I like to buy them each at least one out fit. Well I was running to about 5 stores to get things no one had anything left in size girls 6. Go figure! Well needless to say it took longer than I expected I was past my dinner time and hungry to the point of feeling light headed so what is one to do in the middle of walmart? Well pick up a snickers of course so I did. That was my naughty of the day but added into my calories.1360 calories for the day! At least I made it into the catagory I am working on. 1300 TO 1400 a day that is a little change for me. I was doing 1400 to 1500. No I only am planning on over that amt. on special days. Thought I'd shake things up a bit.
kEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE! Gotta go off to work!

Nikki do you get a dinner break during class or is it straight through? If it's straight through which it sounds like to me you could pack low cal snacks that keep well like carrots, whole wheat crackers and such.

Eat a late lunch so you aren't starving by 5, pack an snack to eat before class, or during if the prof doesn't mind. Then the big trick I think is to plan dinner ahead. Use a crockpot if you can so dinner is hot and ready when you get home. I know this bends your no eaing atfer 7 rule. But it doesn't so much matter WHEN you eat it's WHAT you eat (at least according to WW). Most people have a hard time not snacking on junk so that 7 pm cut off is helpful. So allow yourself a healthy dinner on your late night at school when you get home. If it's hot and ready to go you won't be so tempted to grab whatever and munch while you cook.

If you don't have a crockpot or no time to throw stuff in the AM, I'd try just planning a quick healthy dinner. Even if you know you have a healthy tv dinner in teh freezer. Make sure you have everything on hand and prepared as much ahead of time as you can. That way you can again just walk in and eat dinner.

Hope this helps. Oh and take lots of water with you that helps me not feel soooo hungry.

h ekey is preparing ahead and knowing that you have something healthy and yummy ready for you when you get home. You will be less likely to eat junk, or even skip the meal which would be bad too.
