I am going to aim for 30 pounds to lose by September 1st.
I am at 220 now so that should make me 190 by Sept 1st. Oh I like the sound of that!

I'm trying to lose 30 pounds at least by the time school starts again. I'll try and continue this even after school begins again, but I wont have a lot of time. Luckily (...kind of....) I live in Illinois and PE is a required class and I take it every day, so that should help.

Patti....way to go! I want to be down to Onederland by September 1st. That is my son's 26th birthday...I guess I better get started! I have never had a weigh in day because I have always weighed myself each day; another goal is to weigh once a week and I think I will do it on Friday's too. Okay, I am excited now! Something to work towards.....is this what we have been lacking......?

I'm in too!
My goal is to get below 200# by Sept. 1st - that's 16.5# in three months - definitely possible!
My weigh in days are usually Wednesday, but I'll report them in on Fridays.
I will continue to do my Jillian Michael's Winning by Losing workout (it's a 12-week program).
Let's do this gals!

Ok gals, time to check in - how'd you all do this week?
I can't really weigh in officially, but I weighed 96.5kg (212.3#) on the scale here in the hotel! How I wish it were a *real* number! Hey, maybe it is - I'll try to think positively and maybe it will come true!
So, let's hear how you all have done!

I haven't weighed myself yet but I am going to go buy a basic scale this afternoon so I can keep track of how it's going. Mondays are going to be my weigh in days though since I started the plan on a Monday.
I also celebrated 6 weeks of being cigarette free on Friday! I am so excited about that as well. I feel so much better w/o that nasty habit.

Ok I couldn't take it anymore. I went and bought a scale tonight
I have lost 4 pounds so far and I weighed myself at 8pm after dinner so I know it will be a better number Monday morning. Just wanted to share!

Cakses....I found your 4 pounds plus another half that someone lost.....LOL I was so down yesterday that I wanted to puke but then I weighed this morning and was down 2 pounds from Friday.....I like today's weight better will remain consistent with Fridays weigh in amount. My goal is to lose 25 pounds by September 1st (starting June 8th). I am going to weigh myself only on the 1st of each month. Those monthly ups and downs really frustrate me, so for now I think I'll do better with once a month weigh ins. Right now my biggest challenge is the exercise. I have a tendency to get cramps in my calves, even more so at my current weight. Right now I can only do three 10 minute walks, versus walking longer periods of time all at once. I will press on!

Late Bloomer - be sure to stretch your calves well, after you exercise and they are warmed up. That will definitely help the cramping. Also, don't forget to stretch your shins as well - standing and lifting your toes, alternating feet, is a good way to stretch them.
Also, any chance you're needing more potassium in your diet? That is supposed to help with cramps - bananas and OJ are good sources.
Kim - hang in there - the scale will come back to it's senses. Do a YOU: turn if you haven't already, and being back on plan will get that scale moving down again.
Congrats cakses on the loss of pounds and inches - great first week! And congrats on stopping smoking as well - that's awesome that you are doing both at the same time!
Cindy

I am down a few more pounds. I lost 7.6 pounds in week one overall but now I am obsessing over the scale and weighing in every day so of course it went up .4 lbs. I know by next Monday it will be less but I am so impatient!
My stress level has hit the roof today and I feel awful. I exercised later than usual and now I just want to sleep. Yuck. So I am off to shower and do some house cleaning before my son gets home from preschool. I wish I could go out on a run right now but the little one is asleep. Oh well. Funny thing is even though I am stressy I don't want food. That has got to be a first!
