Default questions for best life diet...

Ok, I've been reading some threads on the best life diet and I haven't done TOO much research just yet but I am def. planning on it. Quick background - I've been doing Weight Watchers since 2003 off and on, and off and on and currently I'm off. I just can NOT count points anymore or do their core plan. So I want to find something else that I will like and I'm weighing my options.

I read the thread down the page about the book - it seems some people like the book itself and some do not - guess for this I will just have to get it and try it out myself (possibly library before i buy)...

Also - it seems as if he does not have any problem with HFCS? I read the thread below about him using a lot of Yoplait yogurts (which I do like, but there's a few other yogurts I like as well.) I know I want to try to limit if not cut the HFCS i consume out of my diet.

But here are my questions:

1. What does Bob Greene say about using frozen meals such as Lean Cuisine / Healthy Choice / Smart Ones, etc...

2. For those of you who've done other plans, what do you like about this plan compared to others?

3. What would you say YOUR typical breakfast is on this plan?

I also avoid HFCS. I don't understand why this yogurt is on his list. I noticed that not everything on his list is actually the best quality or based on the best ingredients, despite his recommendation to buy the best quality possible, but I guess they are the brands willing to work with him and put his emblem on their labels. I think it was commercialized to the point where he lost some credibility with me. Yes, I'm being a sourpuss Personally, I wouldn't worry if it's on his list or not. Just choose the best foods that you want to eat. I only eat Stonyfield yogurts. They are way ahead of Yoplait in quality.

I'm flipping through the book and can't seem to find a reference to frozen dinners. They are probably ok, just check the ingredient list to make sure it's what you want to eat. I think there are a lot of additives in the brands you listed. I buy Amy's Kitchen frozen dinners and think they are better quality.
