I would love to be a part of this group if I could. I spoke to Lori last week and she is wonderful for inspiration. I too have about 100# to lose and I am doing WW on my own. I have posted on a few other threads here but get little response. You guys seem to be a thriving group and that is truly what I am looking for an enthusiastic supportive group. I wish you all the best of luck and am looking forward to all of us having a very successful journey toward our goals.

Just a quick check in..
Shawn -I like the name New Creations because it speaks to all the dimensions of wellness and not just weigh loss. You have my vote!
Lori- Congrats on the loss WHOOHOO !! I'm all about quick and easy recipes. I don't have anyone else to cook for so simple is best for me. On a very good day I get in all my points and about 96 ounces of water..I feel like I'm gonna float away.
Savin- I understand the OT cut. My job doesn't allow OT but they do believe in not giving enough hours to make ends meet.
Yes, knowing that someone is interested in me is a great boost to the ol' self-esteem. I weigh in in the morning and I'm confident I did good. I need to go for now I have a final tomorrow after my weigh in..wish me luck on both.
Take Care.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! This group is just what I have been searching for- an active bunch with lots of support and inspiration! I too am doing the points and so far my biggest problem is not eating enough to reach my point level--I try really hard to get close though. This whole fitness thing is a big adjustment for me and I am sure it will take me awhile to get the hang of the points. I am already a huge fan of drinking water so that is not a challenge for me at all. Exercise- that is a big downfall-I hate it but I have been making myself try to do something everyday even if it is just a walk. I have purchased a yoga tape and Walk Away The Pounds plus I have a body glide which is like the total gym. My biggest problem is I am so out of shape that most fitness routines seem impossible to me(especially with my lack of co ordination!). I watched The Biggest Loser tonight and they rode exercise bikes for 4 hours! I would be lucky to last 40 minutes! The way I look at it any exercise I do now is better than I have been doing in the past so even small amounts to begin is an accomplishment. I am sure it will get easier as I go but for now it is a struggle! Well, I still have dishes waiting on me so I better run. I will check back in the morning to see if a new name or new thread has been started. Good night all!

New Thread
Hello ladies,
I also like the name New Creations. Make me think of myself in a different way. You know, when I think about that name I can imagine myself skinnier, leaner, and happy. Not that I am not happy now but you know what I mean.
So, I am going to take the initiative and start a new thread. So after reading this go look for us under our new name..... New Creations.
Hope to "see" you there.
TTFN, Lori

Hi All
I am new to the boards and this seemed like a good place to start. I am 33 and have been married 11 years. I joined WW before and lost 54 pounds then for whatever crazy reason I quit and gained it all back and then some. I just weighed myself and I am 365 (YIKES ) I really need to get back on program. I am starting back to the meetings in January. Seems like a good time to make a new start. I can't wait to meet everyone and make some new friends and support buddies
Guess that is all for now...see ya all later
