Some pics for you!
She stopped wanting to eat solids after about a week and a half. I figured out it was because she wanted to do it herself:
Looking cute:
Funny face:
My fave pic I took of her recently:
I swear, EVERYTHING she gets her hands on goes in her mouth:
She's always smiling - a very happy baby!

Lori: The pictures of Phoebe are priceless! I miss the "baby" stage...six months is so much fun. I'm looking forward to when my GF has her baby at the end of January. Congrats on your loss! I'd take any sort of loss these days.
Arienwen I traditionally WI on Wednesdays and my weight has pretty much been going up over the past 2 months (9#) and it's been really frustrating. I'm working on tracking and watching the "extra BLT's" that quickly add up. I walk over my lunch hour for my activity and I saw that you walk around college campus--are you a student or do you work on campus? I work at a local university although we're located within the downtown area but it's a nice spot to walk when the weather is nice.
Got a fun weekend ahead of me--tomorrow we're going to a Cleveland Cavalier's game with my sons and daughter-in-law and a friend of my older son's. It should be a lot of fun. I've never been to a pro game and my son says I'm in for a treat. Sunday will be a catch up day and getting stuff ready for Thanksgiving. We aren't having a big group over so it'll be on the quiet side.

Lori, OMG--Phoebe is such a cutie!! She has the prettiest blue eyes. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Melissa, How was the game? I'm not sure, but I don't think I've ever been to a pro basketball game. You've been having nice weather, haven't you?
Arianwen, Yoga is really great. I highly recommend it. I've been going to classes for about 2 years and I've seen improvements for sure.
We are continuing to have warm weather here, but we're supposed to get a cold front this weekend. That will make our Thanksgiving seem more traditional. I'm headed to my parents for Turkey Day. DH is going to eat with friends as he has to work the day after and my parents wanted me to come over, so...
Went to two art shows (outdoors) this weekend. They were really great. Also, went on a moonlight stroll in a park with DH, my GF and her DH. Well...she and I will go to the next one without our DH's. They just grumbled. It was so nice outside and there were musicians playing at certain points in the walk; the guys just didn't get into it.

We have been experiencing some great weather...although the snow is forthcoming. From what I heard we may have snow/rain mixed for Thursday/Friday of this week. We've been really luck--last year by this time we had 19" of snow!
The basketball game was great! It's definitely better in person than watching it on TV. The team introductions with the darkened arena, fireworks, etc. was really good. It also helps when they win!
Monday my GF and I went to the outlet mall to do a little shopping and came home empty-handed. That's okay it was fun spending the day with my girlfriend.
We are in the process of getting a new car--originally we were going to trade in DH's old car but that changed over the weekend. Someone hit it on Friday night and totaled it so instead of trading it in we'll be taking the $$ and putting it down on a new car. We have a line on a '09 Corolla and I'm going to take it for a test drive later this afternoon. I love the color--it's blue!

Melissa, Glad you liked the game. You didn't buy anything at the outlets? That's hard for me to do. : ) You're right though, it's fun to shop with a friend.
Sorry to hear about DH's car. I hope he is OK or was the car parked? Corollas have always been known as reliable vehicles. My new (used) car is a really pretty blue. Good luck.

Lisa, that's right, no shoes, clothes, etc. Couldn't find a thing that fit right! DH's car was parked so that was a good thing. We test drove the Corolla last night and filled out the paper work; we can pick it up tonight
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Arianwen: Have a great weekend! I know your Thanksgiving was in October.

Lisa, I saw my doctor this morning and it was a productive appointment. She is so good in listening to me and working with me. I had brought the copies of my labs from after they did the iodine treatment through October and she even said my Free T4 was really low for me. I told her I was taking the higher dose (112) and she asked how I felt and I told her much better. She gave me a slip to get my labs done in a couple weeks to see where my numbers are at. She said I may need to supplement with a little cytomel to bump my Free T3 but we'll see what my numbers are first in that area. She also gave me a low dose of a Xanax to help with my nerves. I told her about my dad and how at times I get overcome with emotions and that I have a hard time sleeping. It's a really small dose and she said it would help to get me through the holidays. I'm going to see how it goes.
I'm going to start a December thread for us...hard to imagine that Christmas is just around the corner! We've been blessed with really nice weather--so far no snow. Last year we had 19" by this time so this is really nice.
I got my new car--it's a 2009 Corolla LE and it's blue...I love it! Tomorrow is meeting day and we'll see how I fared with Thanksgiving.
