I don't know the most recent version of WW but I think you will figure it out. They used to have examples in there, kind of like a meal plan with the points laid out for the day. You can start with that. You will slowly learn the points value of your favorite foods. A calculator also helps when you go shopping.
If you don't hit the points every day in the beginning, don't worry. You will figure it out and probably lose some weight anyways.

Oh and don't forget: You have us! Ask anything you want to know. There is always somebody around that can help. At least in my experience.
