Default Points question

I am having a glass of iced tea. I added the points but now it's midnight and I didn't finish before my points reset for the day. Do I need to estimate and add points today or can I leave the full points on yesterday's total??

I usually count stuff after midnight on the day before even though technically that is a new day. I usually stay up until 2:00 am or so I include food eaten between midnight and 2:00 as being on the day just ended.

What I'm trying to figure out though is... why does your tea have points? Tea is a zero point food.

Edit: Wait, does your tea have sugar in it? That would add points.

I agree. My day is way off: I usually go to bed around 4am and wake up at noon (I go to school at night). For this reason, when I have my coffee as soon as I wake up I count it as being the morning.. even though it's at noon. Same thing with food... if I eat a meal at 11pm, it still counts as dinner in the evening (as opposed to a late night snack). The day begins when you wake up and ends when you go to bed, ignore what the clock says.
